The Zicha Story - Our origins

The story of Zicha begins with a highly ambitious, reasoned vision of an entire family of enthusiastic entrepreneurs. Inspired by the example of three decades of excellence set by their house brand of Chaussures Premieres, , the MOHANS sought to build a distinctive label on the foundations of their family enterprise. Since 1990, Chaussures Premieres has been achieving consistent global success in the manufacture and export of premium handwoven leather merchandise. Their products are adorned by logos of the world’s foremost fashion labels and loved by fashionistas across the globe.

The vision of Zicha is all about brand identity, exclusivity and class. The founders recognized the unmatched quality and wide acceptance of their products in the global market and chose to enhance the value of their handwoven craftsmanship through a process of meticulous curation and customer-centric product design. As a result, products bearing the Zicha brand surpass their white label counterparts and maintain their unique identity beyond being skillfully crafted masterpieces.

The new face of Zicha was unveiled, on the 60th birthday of our founder and Chairman, Mohanan Krishnan.
